To redeem a Spotify gift card, go to spotify.com/redeem in a web browser and log in, enter the code, then click Continue and Redeem. The Premium time is added to your account: it starts on your next payment date, or straight away if you were on the free plan. Gift cards pay for Premium Individual only.
Below you will find the steps for an existing or a new account, which plans a gift card can and cannot pay for, the country rule, and what happens when the gift card time ends.

- Copy the code from your Gameplug order.
- Go to spotify.com/redeem in a web browser and log in.
- Enter the code and click Continue.
- Click Redeem. The Premium Individual time is added to your account.
What you need before you redeem
- A Spotify account in the card's country. Your account's country or region settings must match where the gift card was purchased. The country of every card is in its product name and on its product page before you pay.
- Premium Individual or the free plan. Gift cards are for time on an individual Premium plan, either to keep paying for it or to upgrade from a free account. You cannot apply a gift card on Premium Student, Premium Family, Premium Duo, a trial offer or a Basic plan.
- No add-on on the account. Spotify says gift cards cannot be applied while you are subscribed to an add-on.
- Room for the time. You can stack up to 18 months of Premium time on one account.
- A code that is still valid. In Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, Spotify says gift cards are valid for 12 months from the day of purchase; Spotify's US terms say US cards do not expire. Redeem your code soon after you buy it.
