- Copy the code from your Gameplug order (letters and numbers, no spaces or dashes).
- Open the Google Play app and tap your profile picture at the top right.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions > Redeem code.
- Enter the code, tap Redeem, check the account and tap Confirm.
What you need before you redeem
- The right Google account. Google shows which account will receive the balance before you confirm. Play balance cannot be moved to another account afterwards, even one you own, so check it carefully if your phone has more than one Google account.
- A card for your Google Play country. The country in your Google Play account must match the country where the card is offered, and the card's currency must match your Play country. The country of every card is in its product name and on its product page before you pay.
- To be in that country. Google Play gift cards are geo-restricted: Google says you must be in the country where the card was purchased to redeem it, and in the country where the balance was redeemed to spend it. If you are travelling, wait until you are back.
- Room under your balance limit. Every country has a maximum Play balance, for example $2,000 in the US, 2,000 € in Spain and the other euro countries, 66,912 MXN in Mexico and 3,000,000 COP in Colombia. A code that would take you over the limit is refused until you spend some balance.
- A personal account that meets the age rules. Play gift cards and balance may only be used by people who meet the age requirement in their region. Accounts run by a workplace or school may have features switched off, and gift cards cannot be used as a family payment method.
