Who runs Gameplug
Gameplug is operated by Gameplug LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, with its principal office at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. Gameplug LLC is the seller and the merchant of record for every order: when you buy, your contract is with us, and refunds, invoices and payment questions are handled by us directly.
Our Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, and our Refund Policy also sets out the statutory withdrawal rights that apply to customers in the EU and the UK. Both documents are public and dated, so you can read the rules before you spend anything.
You can reach a person at [email protected], at [email protected] for refund requests, through the contact form or through the live chat on every page.
How buying on Gameplug works
- You choose a product. Every listing shows the platform it is for and its activation region before you add it to your cart.
- You pay at checkout by card or wallet (processed by Stripe), with cryptocurrency (processed by NOWPayments), or from your Gameplug wallet balance.
- We email an order confirmation. As soon as your code is allocated, a separate delivery email arrives with a private link to your Reveal Page. The code itself is never sent in an email.
- On the Reveal Page you scratch off the cover to see your key, code or account details, then redeem it on the platform. The order also stays under My Orders in your Gameplug account.
How long delivery takes
Most orders are fulfilled within seconds of payment being confirmed. Some products are bought from a supplier at the moment you order; during busy hours that can take up to about five minutes, and if a supplier fails to deliver in that window we automatically source the code from another supplier, which can add a few more minutes. In rare cases sourcing takes up to 24 hours. If you have not received your code within 24 hours of payment confirmation, you are entitled to a full refund.
Copy your code when you reveal it. For security, a revealed code stays visible on the Reveal Page for a limited time, and reveal links expire after a while. If you lose access to something you bought, email [email protected] and we restore access after verifying the order.
Where our keys and gift cards come from
Our catalogue is supplied by established digital-goods distributors and verified supply partners. Every key and gift card we sell is a legitimate, brand-new code — never used, shared or obtained fraudulently.
Because stock comes from distributors that serve different countries, the same game or gift card often exists in several regional versions. That is why every listing carries a region label, and why we highlight the versions that can be activated in your country. The label is part of the product, not a footnote.
When a customer reports a code that will not activate, that report goes straight into our supplier-verification queue. We check the code with the supplier, and confirmed-faulty codes are replaced or refunded.
Keys, gift cards and accounts: know what you are buying
Most of what we sell falls into one of three types, and the product page always tells you which one you are looking at.
- Game and software keys are activation codes you redeem on a platform such as Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox, Nintendo eShop, Epic, GOG, EA app, Ubisoft Connect or Battle.net. The game is added permanently to your own library.
- Gift cards and top-ups add credit to a wallet or account — a Steam Wallet, a PlayStation Store wallet, an Apple Account balance and so on. They are usually locked to one country and currency.
- Account products are labelled "Account · not a key". You receive login credentials to an account that already owns the game. The game is not added to your own library, the account may have usage conditions (for example offline mode), and the platform may reclaim or ban the account. If you want the game on your own account, choose a key edition instead.
Accounts are sold openly, under their own label, so nobody buys one thinking it is a key. More detail is on our game accounts page.
Region locks, explained
Not every key is region-free. Many are tied to an activation region — Europe, North America, a single country — and some are global. Gift cards are usually stricter still: most only redeem on an account registered in the country the card was issued for, in that country's currency.
- The activation region is shown on every listing and product page.
- Before you buy, check that it matches the region of the platform account you will redeem on. Our Terms make that check the buyer's responsibility, which is why we put the region up front.
- If a product was marked region-free and a region restriction still blocks redemption, you are entitled to a full refund within 14 days, as long as the key has not been activated.

Payments and security
We do not process cards ourselves. Card and wallet payments — Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other local methods — are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified payment provider, so your full card details go straight to Stripe and never to us. Cryptocurrency payments are processed by NOWPayments. Checkout runs over an encrypted connection.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method: Stripe for cards, NOWPayments for crypto. Orders paid from your Gameplug wallet are refunded to the wallet.
- When a code is revealed we record the date, time, IP address and device. This is used only to defend against chargebacks and disputes and to detect refund abuse.
- We do not accept orders from comprehensively sanctioned countries and regions. The current list is in our Terms of Service.
Refunds and faulty codes
Digital codes cannot be "un-revealed", so the rules are built around one moment: revealing your code. Here is what our Refund Policy covers.
When you get a refund
- Never delivered: no code within 24 hours of payment confirmation — full refund.
- Faulty: the code fails because of a supplier-side problem (already used, invalid format, banned by the platform or the wrong product) — a replacement or a full refund, your choice.
- Wrong region: the product was marked region-free but a region restriction blocks it — full refund within 14 days, if the key has not been activated.
- Changed your mind: within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have not revealed the code (for top-ups and eSIMs, before the credit is sent or the eSIM is issued).
- Mis-described: wrong platform, missing DLC or wrong language compared with the product page — full refund within 14 days.
- Duplicate purchase: the same product bought twice by accident within 24 hours — the second order is refunded.
When refunds are not available
Once a code has been revealed, activated or redeemed, the order counts as delivered and refunds are not available on demand — faulty codes are always still covered. Refunds also do not cover dissatisfaction with the game itself, or requests made more than 14 days after delivery unless the code is later proven faulty.
How to ask
- If a code does not work, open the reveal link from your delivery email and use "Problem with this item?" on the Reveal Page. Pick a reason and attach a screenshot of the platform's error.
- For anything else — an undelivered order, a duplicate purchase, a change of mind on an unrevealed code — email [email protected] with your order number.
- We aim to reply within 24 hours, and within 72 hours at peak times. Refunds typically reach your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Support, reviews and how to check us yourself
Live chat is open around the clock: an AI assistant answers straight away, and a human agent takes over when a problem needs one. Email and the contact form are answered typically within 24 hours. Have your order number ready and most problems are solved in one reply.
Gameplug is a young store, so our public review history is still short. Our Trustpilot profile is open to every customer — read what is there, and if you buy from us, add your own experience. We do not show invented ratings or counters anywhere on the site.
A few checks you can always run before buying from any digital store, including ours:
- Look for a named company, a postal address and a written refund policy — ours are in the Terms and Refund Policy.
- Check that the region and platform are stated before you pay, not after.
- Check who processes the payment. Ours go through Stripe and NOWPayments, never through a form that asks for card details by email or chat.
Frequently asked questions
Is Gameplug a legitimate company?
Yes. Gameplug is operated by Gameplug LLC, a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, with its office at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. It is the seller and merchant of record for every order.
Are Gameplug keys and gift cards genuine?
Yes. Our catalogue is supplied by established digital-goods distributors and verified supply partners, and every code is a legitimate, brand-new code. If one fails to activate, report it from your Reveal Page and we replace or refund confirmed-faulty codes.
How fast will I get my code?
Most orders are fulfilled within seconds of payment being confirmed. Some codes are sourced from a supplier when you order, which can take a few minutes, and in rare cases up to 24 hours. If nothing arrives within 24 hours of payment confirmation, you are entitled to a full refund.
Why is my code sent as a link instead of in the email?
For security, the delivery email contains a private link to your Reveal Page, not the code itself. Keep that link private, copy your code when you reveal it, and find the order again any time under My Orders.
What happens if my key does not work?
Check you are redeeming on the right platform, on an account in the key's region, and that you typed the code exactly. If it still fails, use "Problem with this item?" on the Reveal Page with a screenshot of the error. We verify it with the supplier and replace or refund confirmed-faulty codes.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Yes, within 14 days of purchase, as long as you have not revealed the code. Once a code is revealed the order counts as delivered and is no longer refundable on demand, although faulty codes are always covered.
Is it safe to pay on Gameplug?
Card and wallet payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS certified provider, so your full card details never reach us. Crypto payments are processed by NOWPayments, and checkout runs over an encrypted connection.
What is an "Account" product?
It is labelled "Account · not a key". You receive login credentials to an account that already owns the game, not a key for your own library. The account may have usage conditions such as offline mode and may be reclaimed or banned by the platform. If you want the game on your own account, buy a key edition.
How do I contact Gameplug?
Use the live chat on any page, the contact form, or email [email protected]. Refund requests go to [email protected]. We typically reply within 24 hours.
