- Copy the code from your Gameplug order.
- Open the Epic code redemption page and sign in, or open the Epic Games Launcher.
- In the launcher, click your name at the top right and choose Redeem Code.
- Enter the code and click Redeem. The game appears in your Library.
What you need before you redeem
- The right Epic Games account, signed in. If you have more than one Epic account, check which one is signed in: a code redeemed on the wrong account cannot be redeemed again.
- A code for the Epic Games Store. Epic explains that a code may not redeem because it is meant for another platform, like PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo. Gameplug product names say which platform a key is for.
- An account country that matches the code. Some codes only work on accounts set to a specific country. You can only change your account country if you have moved permanently, and only once every 6 months.
- The main game, for add-ons. A code for add-on content needs the base game on the same account.
- Two-factor authentication (optional for codes). Epic does not list 2FA as a requirement for redeeming a code, but it is required to claim some free games on the Epic Games Store and to send gifts in Fortnite. Turn it on under Password and security in your Epic account to keep it safe.
How to redeem an Epic Games code, step by step
Both routes add the game to the same Epic Games account, so use whichever is closest.
