- Copy the 25-character code from your Gameplug order.
- Go to redeem.microsoft.com and sign in with the Microsoft account you use in Microsoft Store on your PC.
- Enter the code, select Next and follow the prompts to confirm.
- Open the Microsoft Store library, select My Library and select the Download icon next to the game or app.
What you need before you redeem
- The Microsoft account you use on your PC. A redeemed code is tied to that account and cannot be transferred. Check which account is signed in to the Microsoft Store app (and to the Xbox app for games) before you redeem.
- A key that includes the PC version. A Microsoft Store key unlocks the product it was made for. Keys for Windows, and Xbox Play Anywhere titles that include both Xbox and Windows, install on a Windows 10/11 PC. A key for an Xbox console version only will not install on PC. The product name and page say which platforms a key covers.
- A key for your account's region. Microsoft says some codes are meant for a specific country or region, and that your Microsoft account's region should match where you physically are. The region of every Gameplug product is in its name and on its product page before you pay.
- Matching region settings on Windows. If Microsoft reports an incorrect region, it asks you to set your Windows region to the country where you play (see the region section).
- Billing details, if Microsoft asks. You may be asked to add a payment option before redeeming. Microsoft says redeeming the code does not charge you.
- No VPN, and an account in good standing. Microsoft may block redemptions made through a VPN, and some codes cannot be redeemed on a suspended account or one with a balance due.
